Trauma recovery begins with psychoeducation. Utilizing the S.E.L.F curriculum to address group members' challenges. This group is for people who have had overwhelming life experiences, have difficulty feeling/staying safe, find emotions difficult to manage, have suffered many losses and have difficulty envisioning a future. This is not a trauma processing/therapy group. The group is designed to provide members with a cognitive framework that can create a change momentum/ movement to recovering/healing from trauma.

This group will provide members the opportunity to interact with their peers who have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Using evidence-based modalities, group members will learn strategies to strengthen Executive Functioning skills (working memory, impulse control, focus, emotional control, organization, planning, and self-monitoring), improve social interaction skills and build self-confidence through psychoeducation, role-playing, games and peer support. Topics Include:
School-Age: 2nd & 4th Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Middle School: 2nd & 4th Thursday 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
High School: 2nd & 4th Wednesday 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
